- 2 chicken breasts, minced or ground
- 2 garlic cloves / 1 egg
- 2 slices of sliced bread
- 2 tablespoons (soup) of milk
- 1 tablespoon (soup) of flour
- Breadcrumbs for coating
- Chopped parsley, salt and oil
- 5 crushed tomatoes (natural or canned)
- 1 onion / 1 red pepper
- ½ glass of white wine
Tip: serve the meatballs on a rice base to complete the dish
1- We start with the meatballs. In a bowl, crumble the loaves of bread and let them dissolve in the milk to form a paste.
2- Add the shredded chicken breasts to the bowl and mix well.
3- Add the egg, the flour, the chopped parsley and the minced garlic cloves. Mix until a homogeneous dough forms.
4- Form balls with the dough and coat them, one by one, in the breadcrumbs. Reserve.
5- Meanwhile, we prepare the tomato sauce. In a frying pan, with a little oil, fry the chopped onion, tomato and pepper.
6- When they are tender, add the tomatoes in pieces and let them fall apart. Then add a little salt and the white wine, and let it reduce until it has a sauce texture.
7- In plenty of hot oil, fry the meatballs, one by one, until they turn golden. Remove them from the pan and let them dry on kitchen paper.
8- When serving, you can accompany the meatballs with white rice and the tomato sauce on top. Hmm …… ..how hungry!
